Track 1: ‘Lady is a Tramp’, sung By Neville
Skelly accompanied by the Freedom Orchestra Recorded

performance, rehearsing in the morning and leaving the next day. |
Track 2: ‘Tell me now’, Kym Brown Recorded and
mastered at Cybersound Studio’s 2004 This
track is taken from her album ‘Almost Happy’ recorded by me and mixed by Kym
and I at Cybersound. The whole album took around a week to complete, and is
in my opinion one of her better tracks. |
|
Track 3: ‘Thanks for Nothing’, Jack’s Creation Recorded at
Cybersound Studio’s 2004 A
fairly typical recording session, consisting of one days recording and one
days mixing and mastering. This particular session saw four tracks produced. |
Track 4: ‘ Recorded Live
on the Carnival Conquest, 2005 An
‘off the cuff’ live recording of one of the regular ten piece big band sets. |
|
Track 5: ‘Night
of the Living Inbreds’, the Inbreds, taken from the album ‘Groove
Drenched Warfare’ Recorded and
mixed at Cybersound, 2005 The
band has 3 guitars and all cabs were heavily mic’d up in a number of ways
until the producer was happy with the sound. Total recording time was approx
2 weeks, and while being recorded my myself, mixed by the producer and
myself, was mastered elsewhere. Very heavy, very thick and very loud! I
have also toured with this band. |
Track 6: ‘Chi
Mai’, performed by Chris Watkins, accompanied by the Carnival Freedom
Orchestra Recorded Live
on the Carnival Freedom, 2007 Chris
is an occasional solo violin Cruise ship performer; this is the most
recognizable track in his repertoire of mostly classical numbers. |
|
Track 7: ‘Time to say goodbye’, performed
by Penny Mathison, accompanied by the Carnival Paradise Orchestra Recorded Live
on the Carnival Another
occasional performer, Penny is a solo opera singer, singing all the classics. |
Track 8: ‘Queen of the Night’, Sung by Louise

|

at Cybersound, 2003 A
one day mixing and mastering job at Cybersound. |
Track 10: “Sgt.
Danko’, Stoftype Recorded and
mixed at Cybersound, 2004 Recorded
for the ‘Shards’ Album, a showcase of all local bands in the area. 20 Bands
have 10 days to record and mix one track to appear on the CD. Sgt. Danko was
set up, recorded and mixed in 5 hours. One of the more unusual tracks on the
CD, and all musicians were under 16 when recorded. We even had time to
experiment with different stereo effects and reverse sung lyrics. |
|
Track 11: ‘Rock and
Roll Section’ Recorded Live
on the Carnival Glory, 2006 Performed
By Ed Chen, part of ‘Rock down Broadway’ on the Carnival Glory. Tracked music
not used unless strictly necessary, however this particular performance
warranted the use of a tracked lead guitar |
Track 12: ‘Summertime’ performed by Sinead
Blanchfield, accompanied by the Carnival Freedom Orchestra Recorded
Live on the Carnival Freedom, 2007 One
off Fly-on operatic act. Slightly
spoiled by the guitarist’s error in the middle of the sax solo, however, the
rest of the recording came out fairly well. |

Track 15: ‘Motown Medley’, Performed
by Marcus Anthony, accompanied by the Carnival Glory House Band Recorded

energy and volume. He also now sells his own CD’s, recorded live by myself. |

mixed at Cybersound, 2004 Also
from the Shards Album and also recorded, mixed and mastered in 5 hours. I
